El nombre de estas fuentes proviene de su autor, que es conocido como Artwiz. Estas fuentes por su aspecto futurista y minimalista son muy conocidas entre los usuarios de FluxBox y OpenBox.

Para instalarlas en ubuntu ejecutamos:
$ sudo apt-get install xfonts-artwiz
Despues ejecutamos:
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig-config
Y en las sucesivas ventanas que aparecen seleccionamos: native, automatic y yes.
Reiniciamos las X pulsando Ctrl+Alt+Backspace
ya ya podemos seleccionar las nuevas fuentes.
si usamos fluxbox, ejecutariamos:
$ gnome-font-properties
Si usamos Gnome podemos acceder al administrador de fuentes desde Sistema > Preferencias > Fuentes
